A guide to a fun filled Bachelorette weekend full of wine, yummy food & girl time.
We visited Dahlonega, Georgia for my best friend’s bachelorette trip! We had about 10 girls. I’d never heard of it before but what a cute discovery. It’s a must for your next girls trip. I like to call it the Napa of the South!

Where to Stay
We rented an Airbnb right in the little town. It was perfect and has lots of beds and room. It was in April so it was a little too chilly for the awesome pool, but the hot tub was the MVP for sure.
Things to Do
- Visit the town square that has restaurants, boutiques & dessert shops
- Lunch at Capers on the Square
- Dinner at Bourbon Street Grille
- After party at Johnny B’s – a local bar
- Hike the Lake Zwerner Trail – 3 miles
They say if a couple walks the downtown square 3 times, they’ll have a happy marriage for life! 🤍 The town has so much history.
Wine tours:
We hired a driver with Dahlonega Wine Tours and couldn’t recommend it enough! Our driver was so fun and made getting around to the wineries a breeze!
My favorite thing about visiting all the wineries is they each had such a different vibe and atmosphere, so you got a whole new experience at each one.
- Started at Montaluce Winery – You literally feel like you’re in Tuscany and has a wonderful atmosphere.
- Wolf Mountain Vineyards & Winery – It’s up high and has amazing views. You feel like you’re in the mountains and has such a cozy vibe.
- Kaya Vineyards – Was a great view of all the fields of vines.
